Our curriculum is ambitious for all pupils, ensuring all our children experience the challenge and enjoyment of learning within a supportive community that fosters the courage to try and the determination to persevere. We have high expectations for all our children and strive to deliver a broad and balanced education enabling every child to achieve and succeed. 

We use published schemes to provide a clear and progressive framework to deliver the National Curriculum, enabling children to build rich and deep subject knowledge and to develop their skills in a highly organised and structured way. Topics and schemes are adapted to be relevant to the experience of our children where possible and delivered in a way that excites, promotes and sustains children’s interest. This includes using quality resources and offering opportunities for children to learn in and out of the classroom.

We aim to build independent learners who have the skills and desire to communicate and collaborate effectively, in their learning and their play. We aim to build independent thinkers who develop strong links between different aspects of their learning and have the flexibility and adaptability to apply these in new and creative ways. We aim to build independent young people who are responsible and respectful, who are ready for the challenges and successes of their secondary education and to play their part in our diverse society beyond.
