The School Governor Fund

The Governors’ Fund is a dedicated financial resource established to support the statutory responsibilities and strategic priorities of the Governing Body.

The fund is accrued through voluntary contributions and fundraising initiatives. All expenditures adhere to the principles set out in Department for Education guidance and in compliance with Charity Commission rules.

The fund supports a range of activities that directly support our school community, including:

  • Training and Development – covering courses, conferences and workshops for staff and pupils
  • Resources – purchasing relevant books, subscriptions, and other materials to support the pupils’ education
  • Buildings and Maintenance – the Governing Body is responsible for contributing 10% of the total cost of any approved maintenance or building project
  • Tokens of gratitude – from time to time, the fund may be used to provide modest retirement gifts (up to £25) for governors who have served our school faithfully as unpaid volunteers

The Governing Body wishes to express its sincere gratitude for the generous donations received from parents, carers, and friends of the school. Every donation directly supports the continued success and sustainability of our school community.
