REALLY IMPORTANT NOTE:  The English writing is meant to be independent.  So I would ask parents not to help in any way (except for logistics of getting the paper etc).  They should take 15-20 minutes to write and edit.  Then they could:

- Do music lesson 1; or

- Private reading; or

- Spellings learning (put each word into a sentence); or

- Maths fluency task (Fluent in 5).

Or a combination of more than one activity!!
