Hever School joined the rest of the country in holding a two minute silence at 11a.m. on Remembrance Day.
We held a special socially distanced Remembrance Service around the Hever War Memorial. This encouraged pupils to think about the sacrifices made by people in the armed forces.
Our students have been wearing and making poppies throughout November to commemorate Remembrance Day. The red poppy is a sign of remembrance and a symbol of hope for a peaceful future.
THANK TO HEAD BOY AND HEAD GIRL and our leading lights who read during the service. Reverend Simon Braid led the service beautifully and was so impressed with our Hever Students as they focused and showed reverence.
