As you may have noticed, members of the PTA community have been hard at work improving the playground, a massive thank you to Mrs Moore for securing the majority of the money for the bark and to everyone else who came and moved it.
 

We have more plans to develop and improve our playground for the benefit of all of our children. Improvements include:

• Installing a new piece of climbing apparatus in the trim trail;
• Put in grants for a larger piece of equipment in the area next to the trim trail
• Re-roofing the friendship bench shelter with fete money;
• Re-roofing the acorn sandpit with fete money;
• Planting up the kitchen garden with some of the cookbook money;
• Giving the peace garden a haircut;
• Re-imagining the sensory garden;
• Rebuilding the kitchen garden.
   

Huge thanks to the PTA families for helping out on our ground force weekend. We pruned a lot of the trees, tidied up the KS1 playground and generally tidied up the outdoor space. Huge huge thanks to those who gave up their time to do this.

We hope to be successful with all of the grants that our grants committee have applied for, so that we can focus on the next stage of developing the playground – so fingers crossed!
