Team Hever
Pantomimes
This week, the whole of Key Stage 2 enjoyed a wonderful and thought provoking London show Pinocchio, at the Unicorn theatre. The story was beautifully told and had a positive message about being truthful to yourself and others. The children laughed, squealed, shouted and sat open mouthed throughout the performance. As always, they showed Hever at its best!
A massive ‘thank you’ to all of the staff and parent helpers for
their support with the KS2 panto! It was wonderful!
It’s behind YOU!
Thank you to the PTA for organising a brilliant in house panto experience for the Key Stage 1 children…including tickets and ice cream. They had a brilliant time… ‘oh no they didn’t’…! OH YES THEY DID!
Christmas Lunch
A wonderful Christmas Lunch was served up by The Pollen Partnership on Wednesday. It was lovely to all enjoy the feast together.
Many thanks to local company Sontay for sponsoring the crackers and decorations!
Nativity
Well done to all of the KS1 classes for putting on a true show! Words were remembered beautifully and actions and acting performed impeccably!
The Nativity was brilliant - many thanks to Mrs Hendy and KS1 teachers for practicing and parents for the fabulous costumes. Big thanks also goes to Steve Lunn for the set design.
The DVD is still available to purchase over the holidays and can be collected from the school office in January.
Carol Service
The KS2 Carol Service was a lovely way to end the week, held in St Peter’s Church next door. Thank you to all of the families who made the service and we hope you enjoyed it.
Father Christmas
It was a lovely Christmassy farewell from Santa and his elves this afternoon who brought more snow and wonderful treats too.
