Hever Triathlon

Children from Key Stage Two were yesterday lucky enough to take part in Hever Castle's annual Children's Triathlon. With beautiful weather basking them, pupils were able to undertake lessons in archery, have a tour of the Castle itself, have lessons in how to write like a Tudor using a real quill, take part in a treasure hunt across the Castle gardens, experience triathlon running, discover how to swim confidently in open water using wet-suits, make a successful transition from lake to bicycle to running race and finally bike around a small triathlon course.

As you can see, it was an action packed day, full of amazing experiences and the children were commended throughout the day by members of the public and organisers for their effort and good behaviour - something that makes us very proud!

Well done to all involved and thank you to the Hever Triathlon team for inviting us and to Mr Rogers for supporting the Hever team and staff throughout the day.
