On Monday 30th November we welcomed BBC Songs of Praise to Hever Primary school.

We were delighted for them to attend our magical Christingle service at St. Peter’s church. Our pupils behaved beautifully in church and their singing was delightful.

We enjoyed readings from the schools ‘Leading lights’ in year 6 and sung beautiful advent hymns ‘Shine Jesus Shine’ and ‘This Little Light of Mine’.

We hope you all manage to see the filming on Sunday 18th December at 1.15pm on BBC1. BBC One - Songs of Praise, Advent Joy.

Thank you to all the parent helpers supporting the event, giving up your time was very greatly valued and kindly received, and a massive well done and thank you to Mrs de Moraville, who planned the event and organised the whole school.
