Hever Church of England Aided Primary School

A small school that offers your child outstanding learning opportunities

Magnolia - Year 1

Hever School Scarecrow Competition

Every year the Hever Residents Association organise a popular Scarecrow competition where applicants create a scarecrow and display it outside their homes in the villages of Hever, Four Elms and Mark Beech.

This year we have decided to ‘jump on the hay wagon’ and invite everyone at

Hever School to join in!

We would like you to create your very own scarecrow and display it inside or outside of your home, wherever you live.  You can use whatever materials you like, keep it simple or go wild with your design.

Then, email a picture of your creation to your class teacher or the school office and we will create a gallery of entries and decide upon a winner!

Final date for entries is Monday 13th July 2020.

We cannot wait to feast our eyes on your fabulous fabrications!

Welcome to Magnolia Class

In Magnolia class, we promote a learning environment which aims at all times to be happy - because we know that happy children are responsive, receptive and enthusiastic to learning - and challenging - because we know children are capable and keen to learn, and enjoy the challenge and the achievements that come with it.

Home and school links:

We are keen to work as closely as possible with you all the way through your child’s time at primary school. Like other teachers, Magnolia staff are available to speak with you at the end of the day. There is usually a chance to have a quick word with one of the team when you drop your child off in the morning or when you collect them in the afternoon.

Topics:

We regularly update our newsletters which can be found on the website, this will give a breakdown of the topics we are covering and enable you as parents the chance to discuss and explore the topics with your child at home.
