Welcome to Magnolia Class

In Magnolia class, we promote a learning environment which provides a secure, safe and happy space for the children to take risks in their learning. Children are encouraged to take ownership over their learning, and to follow their own interests. We also provide the children with the tools to develop a growth mindset that makes them enthusiastic, motivated and resilient learners.

We are keen to work as closely as possible with you all the way through your child’s time at primary school. If you would like to speak to a member of staff about your child, please contact us via the class email or arrange a telephone conversation through the school office.

Each term I will upload a curriculum overview for the term on this page, so you will be able to see what we will be covering within the various subjects. 

Magnolia class expectations

• Children should read daily to reach 95% fluency.
• Children should bring a water bottle to school daily.
• Children are to bring in a healthy snack for break time. We also have fruit available daily at school. 
• Please ensure that children have suitable clothes for the weather conditions. 
• Children are to bring in a suitable PE kit on a Wednesday and Thursday, and they will get changed before the session. As the PE sessions are at the end of the day, they will go home in their PE kit. 
• Children are to arrive to school in the appropriate school uniform.
