Daily

Reading -  each child should read for 15 minutes every evening and their reading record should be signed by an adult.

Spelling - practice lists are sent home in the children's reading folders on a Monday. The spelling test will be on a Friday.

 

Weekly

Maths - times tables are to be practiced at least twice a week using 'Times Tables Rock Stars' (https://ttrockstars.com/) progress will be check weekly and the children will do a times tables test every Friday in class.

 

Topic

The children can choose from the homework options below. They can complete one in great detail or more than one in less detail. Projects can be handed in when they are completed and should be handed in by half-term (Friday 23rd October).

Make a fact file for each planet in the solar system (or do one planet in more detail on a poster). Things you could include: size, colour, miles from the sun, temperature, interesting facts.
